It took a LONG time to get this one right. We didn't want it to be muddy. It had to have clarity. It needed to suit ultra high gain situations, and come out fighting like a Samurai on speed. However, be warned, you won't be able to play anything clean with this pickup... it blasts the front end of your amp! Think active pickup type tones...
We use 44awg wire, tighly wound and wax potted to make these pickups. We discarded the regular slug poles, and fitted not one, but TWO types of proprietory adjustable slug poles to each bobbin to shape the tone. Ceramic magnet is standard.
Tips to get the most from this pickup:
Pickup height will play a big part in finding this pickups sweet spot.
Four conductor wiring standard so you can really get creative with how you choose to wire it up.
