Ivan Ellis - Blade Of Horus
When I was looking for my next guitar, four things had to match my demands: a solution to my drop-tuning string tension issue, killer aesthetics, dynamic and diverse tone, and overall comfort to play. These aren't in order; they are all as important as each other, and the Ormsby Hype GTR absolutely slayed in all these departments. There is something so brutal to the slamtastic chugs these guitars do,
not to leave out the crystal clear split-coil clean tones that cascade out of the instrument. I feel I have found a brand of guitar that does everything I need!
I play in a tech-death slam band called Blade of Horus. I love all musical styles, but there is something about extreme metal
that gets me pumped. It's an absolute thrill playing a million notes, tempo changes, and slamming down with brutal breakdowns that would wake the dead. My Ormsby is my weapon of choice and it feels deadly in my hands when I hit the stage.
