DINO CAZARES
Signature GTR SERIES
Ormsby Guitars, a pioneer in multiscale electric guitars, announces the addition of legendary metal guitarist Dino Cazares to its family of artists.
You know Dino from Fear Factory, Asesino, Divine Heresy and Brujeria, and from possessing one of the fastest and most precise picking hands in metal history. Dino requires a guitar that can keep up with his ferocious picking without losing his distinctive clarity and wallop. The Dino Cazares signature model is now ready for pre-order in our GTR Series, and handmade Australian Custom Shop versions (on special request).
“I’m proud to be a part of a innovative company that’s not afraid of pushing the boundaries in multiscale and standard scale guitar craftsmanship,” Dino says. “I look forward to the seeing our collaboration takes us and offering it to the world. The future is ours!”
“I’m a longtime fan of Dino,” luthier Perry Ormsby says. “We hit it off as friends a few NAMMs ago and we’ve kept in touch. Eventually we realised we were really on the same page in terms of the evolution of guitar design and technology.”

NOTE: We've made some minor changes to the original prototype released at Winter NAMM, 2019. In the interest of transparency, here they are: 1. The bridge has been changed to a revised angle of our regular bridge, which replaces the single piece per string units we used on the Blood Camo prototype. These bridges are great for prototyping, but our regular style will withstand a lot more abuse, and is smoother under your picking hand. 2. The bridge pickup has been developed by Seymour Duncan, as Dino's new Signature Pickup. The original prototypes featured our own "Toecutter" pickups. 3. The backplate layout has changed, to a single piece plate, rather than two plates. 4. The prototype nuts where made from bone (white), and production models will have graphtec style (black). 5. The side markers on the prototypes are painted. They will be inlaid for production models. 6. The Blood Camo graphic was hand painted by Perry, but this is not possible for production models (only CustomShop). The Blood Camo is a print, applied to the front and back, with the sides of the guitar being red. Worried a print wont look good? Check this high resolution photo of our copper print guitars. |

PRE-ORDER BELOW HERE! Before you go ahead and place a pre-order, please read the following:
Our distributor and dealer network has worked extremely hard to help us increase brand exposure, allowing more access to purchasing our instruments. We have worked very close with the distributors, and stores, to try and get pricing as close to equal throughout the world.
If you are pre-ordering direct from us, you will have to cover the importation, taxes, duties and postage costs to your locality. This means, if you are in Europe or the UK, you'll pay import taxes and VAT on your purchase. In Japan and China, there are importation costs and taxes.
When distributors and dealers import guitars, they cover these taxes and duties. They will be included in the final price. The price you see at the store, is the all inclusive price. Our pricing you see on this page, direct from us, does NOT cover any of those local costs AT ALL.
If for some rare and unfortunate event you have a warranty claim, or shipping damage (heaven forbid!), either way you will be covered. However this process IS much smoother, faster, and easier if you have a store to assist. Stores and distributors won't be able to assist if you pre-order direct from us. You'd need to do a lot more to help us assist you, if ordering direct.
We encourage you to pre-order through your local store. If you don't have a local store, that's fine, go ahead with a pre-order below. You can find a list of dealers HERE.
