Contoured inner horns and forearm carve give the BassGTR a modern stylistic look.

Fretboards: Maple (except Violent Crumble model: Ebony)
Necks: Laminated Rock Maple with 2x Wenge fillets (carbon fiber neck reinforcement rods also included)
Bodies: Swamp Ash

DIMENSIONS
The fanned arrangement of the Multiscale fretboard creates scale lengths for each individual string. We generally call this the "spread". For the GTR range, the spread is as follows:
4 string: 34" - 36" Multiscale
5 string: 34" - 36.9" Multiscale
6 String: 33.1" - 36.9" Multiscale
Due to the increased scale length on the bass side, the tension of the strings increases. We recommend you try dropping a gauge on the bottom end. To learn more about Multiscale, please view our information page here.

Body dimensions (thickness):
42mm BassGTR. For comparison, Fender basses, etc are generally 47mm.

Neck shape:
4 string: 
21mm @ 1st, 23mm @ 17th, D shape with round shoulders. 
Nut width: 38mm
String spacing at bridge: 19mm

5 string: 
21mm @ 1st, 23mm @ 17th, D shape with round shoulders. 
Nut width: 45mm
String spacing at bridge: 18mm

6 String:
21mm @ 1st, 23mm @ 17th, D shape with round shoulders. 
Nut width: 55mm
String spacing at bridge: 17mm

Fretboard Radius: Compound 9" - 16" 

Fretwire: Extra Jumbo Stainless Steel

ALL models have Luminlay glow in the dark side markers, and carbon fiber neck reinforcement rods.

HARDWARE
The bridges are made for us to exacting tolerances using a variety of materials proven for longevity and tone. Hipshot machineheads.

​TONE
Twin humbuckers for the big bass oomph! The humbuckers have a nice neutral tone so we can let a preamp do its thing. We've added the Darkglass Tone Capsule, for a wide variety of fat tones.
